Strange gunsling mounts?

I have procured a mid 80s gun and where you would normally put in QD studs there are some other fittings.

They are like countersunk screws with very slight doming and very wide slots much wider than a screw should have.

The slots seem to open into voids inside the screw heads. They are basically hollow headed with very wide slots.

Does anyone know what these are and where I can get the bits to put on the sling?

I guess they are some msort of early quick release system?

These sound like the qd studs that were fitted to the GC2 herx77 not sure if that name is correctly spelt might be able to help you.
