    Aldershot Open Shoot Today

Just got back from Aldershots 1st open shoot held this afternoon and what a cracking afternoon

Whilst the grounds aren't as extensive as some, very clever target placement and thought made it an interesting course aided by the gamble element which caused a few surprises

A credit to Craig, Graham, Mark and whoever else was involved for a very enjoyable afternoons shooting with superb company.

The best compliment I can offer is that it reminded me of a Meon shoot of old when the valley was used. If you didn't already know people there as friends, you certainly left as friends.

Graham and Mark (Beerjam) thanks for the company going round the course and making us all feel welcome.

Big thanks to the guys from ARPC for having us along today. It was a very interesting course which was well set out, and with the added gamble thrown in sure mixed it up a bit. Well done to Craig, Graham and anyone else involved who made it a great day!

Thoroughly enjoyed the company and banter around the course and what seemed like a never ending supply of burgers and sausages! I did try my best to help you clear it Craig. Think I must of had 6 hotdogs and 3 burgers!

Was great to meet some new faces. Hope to see a few of you at one of our shoots at some point.

No problem Graham, it was a pleasure after such a good relaxing afternoon and had I gone home earlier I'd have had to do the dinner

    Well shot Graham

Glad I had some ( 14 burgers ) as my dinner was in the dog by the time I got home . I wouldn't mind but I don't even have a dog

Massive thanks to ARPC , it was great to catch up with people I haven't shot with since the mid 1800's . lol

Great fun , great food , great company , great course - the look on that youngsters face after shooting must have made it all well worth it , well done . You are all more than welcome to shoot at ours in the not to distant future .

    Thanks again
