Ha ha, I love this !
I have a lockup in hull, its 15 miles away, The bridge toll is £6 & A gallon of petrol is !!!
Thats erm !!! A Lot ? Ha ha,

The gun shoots well, I sold the rear sight for £15 posted , ( Bsa Standard )
Postage is a £10 ( Tenner ) The question is, Why would I bother ?
I bought it for £40 ( Albeit with some bits I really wanted )

    Try looking at " Chambers " & " T Robb " for parts !!!!!
All the best, Ged. & Good luck in your Quest !

When we do sarcasm () in the collectors section (), we try to be a lot less confrontational () ...you can have a couple of these too...)

Ged, if this turns into a weird auction...I'll give you 50p and an onion...it's a good deal, you should take it!
    blah blah

Hiya Dave, Thanks for that, However its not an auction its withdrawn !

( What kind of onion ) I might be intrested Ha ha,
Its an oldish post, However there has to be a price at which the seller will sell,
Stock, Barrel, Metal front sight & Of course the ( Period ) scope & mounts, + Other bits, Metal rear cover , Trigger parts Etc,
I work for the Post Office, ( Or anyone )
Hence, Postage is nothing to do with me ?

Its been mentioned that members on the Forum should really ( Being part of a group ) Advertise items on here before anywhere else !
    & I agree with this,
However the reply above makes this an unviable option ?
I tell you what I pay, & They offer less posted ?? Ha ha,
Either way, All the best to all concerned , Ged.

However !!!!!! If I advertise & sell this & Other items on the Bay of E
It will make twice or even more ?

    Hi Ged,

I was completely serious in my offer...so I'll go a large spanish onion or 2 small onions, but that shallot! (I can hear the groans, but I don't care! )

I know it can be annoying but thedalley was obviously just trying his luck...and why not? ...if you don't ask you don't get!...but you shouldn't really be discouraged from selling on here just because of low offers being made, just ignore them, or a polite "no thank you" usually does the trick...

I've bought and sold a lot of stuff on the bay...but it is a fickle place to sell stuff, one week an item will fetch silly money and the next week the same item sells for a fraction of the price...weird!...that and the hassle (will they pull the auction, won't they pull it?...) and the rising fees (both and paypal...) makes it too much bother for me...having said that, I may stick some old tat on there just for the craic!
    blah blah
