    Question crosman mods

Hello everyone I bought a crosman 2240 pistol in .22 before I knew any better and would like to make it into a better piece of kit with some better open sights etc. Does anyone have any experience of such a task or am I wasting my time? Jim

No, with work they can be made pretty good.

The one mod you really need is a metal breech. Probaly the best that you can get easily is the crooked barn one. http://www.crookedbarn.com/new_page_7.htm If you do nothing but fit that you will have improved the pistol about fivefold

Be warned, there are literally hundreds of mods you can do.... have a look here http://airgunartisans.com/index.htm

Check out Gmac custom mods site, he's got different metal breechs and also does better open sights plus many parts to up the power or
adjust the shot count, basically anything you could want or need.
