    Rohm sights

    Hi,

Recently got a Rohm Twinmaster but it persists in firing too high at 10m, read the manual, bench rested it, let others try it all with the same result.

Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem or if I have just got myself a Friday afternoon one.

    Regards

The important thing is to check that the rearsight is:

    a. Actually moving when you adjust it. You can check this with a Dial Test Indicator or digital calipers.

    and

    b. It is moving in the correct sense. i.e down.

If it is then the muzzle will be lowered when you realign the sights and mpi will drop.

Don't have a chrono but will keep an eye out for someone with one at the range.

The sight does appear to move in the correct sense.

Since I posted originally I spoke to the dealers who very kindly got it collected for checking by the UK distributors so hopefully it will come back in good order.

Dug out my old Predom Lucznik in the interim but that was in need of some TLC as well so thats down at the gun shop, so now on the lookout for a Drulov or similar to expand my collection.

    Many thanks
