Hi all
Are there any good books on maintenance/servicing available. Any advice would be welcome. Or is it better to take it to a good gunsmith?
Thanks :

Depends on what you want to maintain, your level of engineering competence and how far you wish to go. Also what tools you wish to fork out for. A lot of basic maintenance can be done in house, however....if in doubt I recommend you support your local gunsmith.
Never too old to learn, and a good understanding of how something works is very satisfying, it makes you appreciate the skills of the designer. That said, you do need a certain aptitude......hence my collection of dusty musical instruments
Just general springer internal maintenance. I do not mind spending money on equipment.
Put the name of your gun in the search engine on here, you'll be surprised what you'll learn.
