    Top woods fully set... plenty for you to cuss and swear about

    Bottom woods about 1/3rd set and will be back down there next Tuesday to continue

    Tuesday was a washout. Horizontal rain of the torrential variety and enough wind to carry even Tony off like a kite! We were sat in the van about a mile away outside a village shop eating pork pies and sandwiches, with the wind rocking the van when Tony rang to say we'd best call it off for the day. Good thinking that man!

    Went down there Wednesday and Thursday (today) - the course is set!

    All targets painted and oiled except for 2 up trees. Too windy for them, but we'll drop over there tomorrow (friday) to do those. Plinking range targets all painted and oiled as well.

    Haven't had so much fun missing targets for ages! And what a turnout.....102 shooters, great trophies (thanks Bruce and Andrea for that) great food (thanks girls!) great company (thanks everyone!).

    And a huge thanks to Chris Cundey and to everyone who so kindly contributed to the fund. It went to young Olly (Oliver Fleet) who beamed like a dog with two tails!

    Thanks to everyone that came to this years Diabolical, a fantastic turnout. Beating this events previous record of 92 by 10 !

    Thanks also to Chris and Martin who helped setting up the course and Chris Cundy for the great work he does getting rifles for deserving juniors. Seeing Olly's face light up made the day

    Also worthy of mention where Leon Peute, Andries Sluiter and Willem Braams having come all the way from Holland to take part !
