    The Boss, the head honcho, the GUV, or more commonly to us, the old GIT, phoned tonight. He's as happy as a pig in s~~t now his rifle is back. So far it's OK. He got so down that he had to immerse himself in sewing the mats, bags and hides up. Karen caught him trying one of the hides out and thought he was up to un-natural practises with it. She smacked his wrists and put his hands in boxing gloves and tied them together. That made him even more depressed.

    They came off yesterday which could have helped his mood, although he sounded a bit tired.
