I have the early, `period` BSA plastic scope sight with the correct wide clawed mounts. If you would like this p.m me for more info and I will dig it out.

The width of the flat Mark 1 Meteor "cutouts" is 16mm and Sportsmatch do a set of 17mm wide rings, for the old BRNO but should fit the Mark 1 Meteor. I have managed to adapt a set of 11mm mounts with a bit of judicious filing...the base profile of the rings has to be "flat" rather than curved if you see what I mean!
