    Hi,i would also go with around £140 as it has the v-tech silencer etc fitted.I sold a very close to mint 1983 model a couple of weeks back at £220 posted.

    £100 for the rifle if he is lucky; sell the extras toys separately to get some value. Sorry, there are just too many tired rough rifles out there even if they shoot ok. Springers are old hat.

    Collectable examples, and the HW80 MKI's are, must be almost if not mint. Then they are worth a premium. Tat is tat, and costs too much to rectify unless you enjoy doing it. Fixed and tarted up will always be worth far less than a factory fresh example.

    I shoot a FWB Sport and wear an old hat; shouldn't get in the way of business though. I've indoctrinated my son to springers too but the flat cap was too much
