    Hello

I have the same .177 my dad bought me as a boy that is like an antique when compared to the gas bottle powered weapons some of my mates are using. Since working in Africa, I've handled and used some of the heavier calibres and owned a CZ 550 .375 with Leupold 4x32 scope on swing off mounts. A fine all round weapon that I was sorry to say goodbye to. I look forward to learning more from knowledgeable people on this site's Forums.

    Welcome

Thanks very much. There's not much call for .375 calibre rifle in this country so I passed it on to a friend of mine out there. However, I brought the scope back. People seem to be using much bigger apertures these days but there's no substitute for good glass I've always thought. I am thinking of selling the Leupold 4x32 and getting something with a bigger magnification and aperture for conditions in this country. What do you think a ten year old scope like that in pristine condition would be worth?
