Thanks Gary, but don't talk to me about busses....! It's a mile and half's walk to the nearest bus stop, which doesn't go where I need to anyway....!

    I'll be in touch, BTW.

    Yes, happy birthday both.

I suppose there is something more or less inevitable about two or more members sharing the same birthday; somewhat more of a coincidence though when the day belongs to two such doyens of the spring gun sector.

Thanks and happy birthday Gus. Just made a pan-full of my famous sweet and spicy chicken curry and am about to crack open a bottle of Jack Daniels before heading out. Pretty much a free night out for me every year.

Thanks guys... there are a couple of downsides though. When I was a kid, my cheapskate parents would give me a "special" Christmas and Birthday combined present..! Then when my kids got older, we'd all go out for a "special" birthday meal, and as I was savouring my sweet and spicey curry, and sipping my first Jack Daniels of the evening, the kids would be looking at their watches under the table, and thinking, "Hurry up Dad, we want to go clubbing..!"
