    Sheridan H9 .20 nickel/chrome Valuation

    Hi there,
A friend of my has asked me if i could find out what his Sheridan H9 .20 nickel/chrome pump up pistol is worth as he is thinking of selling it but does not know what would be a fair price to ask.
I have had a look at it and it seems to be in very good condition with wood grips (looks like walnut) and a nice finish which i can't decide if it is nickel or chrome.
The owner says he has had this pistol for a good few years but can't remember exactly how long,
This is not really my sort of thing so perhaps someone on here could give an estimate of its value,
I will try to put some pics up later once he has emailed them to me.

    Many thanks.
    Rich.

    Hi Rich

I had a Sheridan E9a in 20cal and paid £40 for it about five years ago, I traded it a couple of years ago along with a Crosman Co2 pistol for a TH78 and a couple of home made stocks so I can't really help but would hazard a guess at £80 today...

Mine was stripped of it's paint and polished (they're brass underneath the black paint apart from the trigger frame which is aluminium or Zinc alloy)..
