    Worcester Air Rifles

Worcester Air Rifles club shoot Sunday 8th. January.

In sharp contrast to the gale force winds earlier in the week, today dawned with near still air, which had picked up just enough to make things interesting by the time the competition got under way.

Top score was 57 by Tom Morgans, followed by two outstanding scores of 53 for Ian Treadwell and 52 for Mick Boswell; outstanding because it was only Ian's second HFT shoot and he was using his .177” HW97, and because it was Mick's first HFT competition and first time with .177”.

    Tom Morgans 57
    Ian Treadwell 53
    Mick Boswell 52
    John Holder 50
    Matt Sproston 50
    Lee Malpass 49
    Darrin Lynn 47
    Jason Scott 41
    Stacey Sproston 36
    Chloe Sproston 14

The next shoot will be on Sunday 22nd. January.

For the benefit of anyone wishing to attend, the postcode is WR6 6PL, which is Berrow Green, on the B4197 between Knightwick and Martley.

Once on Berrow Green, you cannot miss the Admiral Rodney. The entrance to the club ground is around 70 yards to the north (Martley side) of the Admiral Rodney, and on the same side of the road, opposite a black and white cottage.
