    HW80 Restoration finished!

    Before-
    after-
This one had been left in a damp shed for years and wouldn't cock. The barrel was bent and the breech face damaged. After ages of looking for a standard barrel I found a theoben stamped barrel off an 85k and fitted that. The actions on these two guns were quite badly pitted and it was a real test of my patience getting them all out with out rippling all the metal and rubbing things off like the scope rails! I didnt do the blacking just the polishing.
The stocks I spray painted after applying several coats of tinted 2k laquer, followed by a clear one I finally made the crappy beach look reasonable.
sorry the pictures of the 80 are not very good, mobile phone in doors.
Next project is a 300s junior,it needs all the above treatment
In saying yes to this air rifle you are confirming that you are not a messer and are allowed to go out in public without your carer

    Nice one Pat

2 stocks coming your way soon...
Opportunity is missed by most people, because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
