    Question Rare Webley Mk3 valuation...

Gentlemen, some assistance please with a valuation for a friend.

Webley Mk3 in excellent condition with a very nice stock showing good figuring and tigerstriping, .22 and the bit which makes it particularly rare, it's a smoothbore.

Three photographs in this link will hopefully help, click on each image to enlarge if needed.

Thanks for any input you can offer.

    Hello,

Pictures of the cylinder and the blueing would help a lot more , but from what you have shown ~ £175:00.

Thanks for the reply Sam. I've been digging around the web to find out a bit more.

It's not my rifle, but I have seen it and the blueing is in excellent condition, I doubt it's seen much use.

Can anyone help with dating it? A8595, does that make it mid-1950's?

Average Mk3's seem to fetch the price you have mentionned, or a bit more. SuperTargets are fetching £250-400 on Gunstar.

I can't find an answer but only a few hundred smoothbores were made? out of however many normal guns.

    Thanks for any information.
