    The right pellet

I was reminded last night of how much more accuracey the right pellet can give a gun. I had just shot a group with my .20 mk1 rapid which emptied the mag into a hole no bigger than 1/2" edge to edge at 20 yards. I then got my .22 mercury s out and decided to try a few different pellets other than the s/domes I had been using. The domes produced a vertically strung group which I had put down to a week barrel latch spring. Long story short, RWS superfield shot a group that rivaled
the rapid! Well chuffed I will chrono to see what me they are doing, don't normally like such heavy pellets for a .22 but the accuracey has convinced me that its s/field for the S!

Is it true that in some rifles they seem to shoot most things well, but others are really picky ?

Lanes Bulldog's suit BSA barrels very well.
I was plinking in the garden today and with a .22 Mercury and Meteor and they were pellet on pellet.
Tried them in a HW35 and they were shocking. The target looked like it had been hit with a shotgun.
