    Hello from Newcastle

Off to Skye for a week's fishing holiday with access to 10 acres, and seriously considering buying my first air rifle since the 80s, when I had a BSA Meteor, Mercury, ASI Magnum and finally a Webley Tracker. Back then I really wanted a Weirauch HW77, and now that I'm looking again nothing has changed! However I may be swayed by the 97K; perhaps someone can recommend a budget scope to go with it?

I was registered on this board 7 or 8 years ago, when I was looking for a volunteer to participate in a piece I did for the local news about Red Squirrels. I seem to remember a lot of suspicion and general muttering, but in the end I found a splendid chap called Geordie who did a great job for us. Perhaps you remember?

    Cheers all

    Thank you.

I see from the forum rules that I should have given my name. It's Loretta.

    Ok, it's Damian

    hello.
There are budget scopes, and there are budget scopes. It really depends on your budget and whether or not you want an illuminated reticule, variable power etc or not. The JSR brand seems decent enough for the money.
