    we have a new cylinder that uses nitro powder instead of black powder and uses shotgun primers instead of percussion caps, so instead of 20 grains of black powder I use 2.5 grains of Bullseye and shotgun primers which are fitted in a recess in the cylinder and covered with a cap which has 6 firing pins, its expensive, costs about £350 ish if you have the pistol to be converted, will sort some pics out, cheers Tezz

    First my ROA. I haven't been able to get the correct Pachmayr grips so far so these are from a Ruger Blackhawk. They fit OK although not perfectly. Much more comfortable than the standard ones for my largish hands!

    Next one is no longer BP but it's probably still my favourite gun - an original 1896 Winchester carbine - this one is from 1913.
    It's chambered in 44-40 and with 8gr of Unique is amazingly accurate. I find it one of those guns where everything is just right!

    .44 Cal. Feinwerkbau Rogers & Spencer (This one was made before they were known as the History No.2. Made by FWB fitted by Hege Waffen about 20 years ago)

    .50 Cal. Thompson Center Arms Scout. This gun can fire a 460 grain Maxi Bullet sitting on top of 90 odd grains of FFG. Cures any flinch problems you may have with smaller guns !! (Fifth picture shows the huge ported nipples) I also have a 54 Cal. barrel for this gun. Very spectacular gun to watch fired as surplus pressure is vented through the two ports on both sides of the action. I have to wear corn plasters on my knuckles or the trigger guard will spit them open.
