Can we assume it is the smooth twist barrel? Your comments about the groupings suggest that it be more pellet fussy than has been suggested?

The 2-3" groupings were with the Rangemaster Li's, which came good in the end.
It's only had about 500 pellets through it so far; so early days really.
I'll revisit each brand of pellet in the fullness of time.

I was with westy yesterday and he was kind enough to let me have a quick shoot of the new Vermynow i shoot a Brocock concept super 6 so its pretty light anyway, but the vermy was just a revelation absolutly fantastic bit of kit ! shoulders very well too. Only problem i found is the sudden urge to go purchase one ???????????????

Good review. I am a fan of the mk 1 verminator and have since steered towards daystates. That said looking at the mk2 verminator I may be swayed to get a cheeky one as my ratting rifle.

looking at the pics the cocking lever is not able to change sides unlike the mk1 so not so good for the lefty shooters.
