first run meteor

hi guys
i have been givern a early meteor , it as steel sights and athe mount for are two section of dovetail about 4.5'' part, is thist one of the first one made ?

Yep, it's a Mk1. No matter what anyone tells you about the rear sight being drift adjustable, don't attempt to adjust it. It'll fall off. Is any of the etching still visible on the cylinder.
