    Rochford a g c 12th feb new 5 minute snooker comp results!

We had a very good turnout, despite the bad weather conditions and the biting cold.

We at the club, started our new 5 minute snooker comp. The rules are quite simple. get as many balls potted ( spinners hit) in the set 5 minutes. In order, as if you were playing normal snooker.

We had a good laugh and will be doing it again very soon.

    Here are the results:-

    Tony Yates----------56
    Ron Whitney---------46
    John Richardson------31
    Harry Kalaydjian------31
    Indie----------------24
    Chris Watson--------20
    Howard Towler------12 (springer)
    Ryan Yates---------10
    Dave Spary----------2

Well done to you all, and a very well done too Tony for winning this one, he's been walking round with a big smile on his face ever since.

Thank you to you all for taking part and to everyone else who took the trouble and made an effort to come out.

See you sunday for the open.

We all have off days you know. Still, I have broard enough shoulders to take the flak. I am surprised it's so light. I can take it, I had 30 odd years of professionals trying to get into my head when I was a teacher. By comparrison, you are mere amateurs!

Tony won't let me shoot it with my rimmy or the shotty. Good bit of fun though apart from freezing the nuts off prone.
See you Sunday for the open comp.
