    10x42 "sniper" scope thread dimensions

Alright chaps - question for those of you who've used the EB, Nikko, Tasco etc snipers..

Are the threads for sunshade attachment etc uniform across the brands, i.e. could my EB take a sunshade intended for a Tasco SS?

Basically I'm after an ARD for my EB 10x42, but I've not seen one specifically made for this scope - I know DAR had one on his Tasco (IIRC - it was a US import) that would fit the bill nicely.

I've seen the "flashguard" type that fit in a butler creek, but I hate having stuff clipped all over my gear - a screw-in version would be much better

    Any info appreciated,

    Dan

    Phone Norman Clark in Rugby.
He sells a flashguard that fits inside the EB scopes front end. It does not need a cover to hold it. It simply pushes inside the tube and has a rubbery outside which grips the tube threads.
I have them on both my 10X and 20X.He also has extender tubes to fit at a very reasonable £4 odd.
However, I do use a cover with them to protect them when not in use. I would think they would be almost impossible to clean or repair if damaged.
