    bsa spitfire

    just got my bsa spitfire back from john bowkett and have to say what a great rifle it is, jb realy did a great job at fixing and making the rifle a joy to shoot, not tried it hunting bunnies yet, hope to soon

    I can only agree, John blueprinted my .22 and fitted a silencer it looks and shoots great. I now have an .177 and another .22 which I was looking for a .177 barrel for. Think I will sell this one and look for a .25 or a.20
    Then get the 3 blueprinted

    John is great spoke to him yesterday re the .177 barrel. The man is a gent and is full of info

    Hmmmmm. Not really a collectable, the BSA Spitfire, and enhancing after market performance tuning is not really a topic for the collectables section, either, so this thread has now been moved to the General Airgun section where I feel it will sit much better. For the record however, I agree with 100% all that has been said about JB's work.
