Rossendale Model Target Club

I recently became a member of Rossendale M.T.C. after my first visit where I was made to be very welcomed amongst the group of friendly pistol enthusiasts. It made a great change and culture shock from the 'Star Wars Bar' at Rivington.

Bob is working hard at formulating the rules for an inter club pistol competition were the emphasis will be on fun while introducing some people, who wouldn't normally bother with 'serious' competition (like me ) and at the same time promoting the sport of air pistol shooting.

Who will I be shooting for? Ross M.T.C. of course because I like being on the winning side.

It wasn't the Centenary that bothered me, I still get that what have you done feeling when I look at a Gun rack without a Stutzen.

I'm sure Bob is taking good care of them.

Now this is getting very confusing.

Gladys is not a woman but a bloke ( called Mary).

Jean of "Jean Jean the Airgun Queen" fame is a woman who used to be a diesel fitter who sold womens knickers on the local market whose famous cry was "deisel fit her".....but needs to be feared more than Galdy's ( real name Mary).

It all makes perfect sense now - can't wait to go to the Rivington Club - sounds a bit like the League of Gentlemen!

Thats why I will be shooting for the ROSSENDALE MODEL TARGET CLUB as the other lot are a set of uncouth rough necks.
