Last night was an interesting shoot, with mainly springers.

There is no doubt that the Feinwerkbau Mod 65 and 80 are, and always will be, an iconic gun which are a joy to shoot.

It was also interesting to see the history of the Gamo, with the Falcon through to the Target; all of which gave respectable scores, especially for good old twangers.

I won't disclose the averages over 10 shots, but I can hear a distant tremble.

    Kind regards,

    Phil

Is that the pistols or the shooters?

    The pistols of course.

We couldn't possibly use the collective noun of "Twangers" without the presence of your good self.

    Kind regards,

We also have several SSP shooters so I suppose the collective noun for them could be "Strokers"

Personally I enjoy a bit of Twanging, but cannot pass any comment about shooting my SSP.

Maybe "Pumpers" would be better........no perhaps not........"Pumping" sounds just as bad as "Stroking" - no wonder SSP pistols are not used so much any more - I had better stick with "Twanging" my Model 65 I think.

    New Skip - Elecric Model.

My new Nissan Juke packed up yesterday, and when the garage collected it they left me a Nissan Leaf to play with until it is fixed.

I have just been told that I won't get my Juke back today and so I have plugged this new "hair dryer" into the mains socket so I have enough battery to get to and from the RMTC club tonight.

The only good thing about this is that it will divert all (most/some?) of the ridicule and attention away from the TC1 SMART Cabriolet for a day or two perhaps - but I would prefer not to have the Pizza delivery stickers put on it as I have to give it back tomorrow!

..so fingers off - verbal attacks only!

Did you know that the word "juke" , according to the Times Word watch section, means "brothel" ??

Interesting name for a crossover vehicle ?

You just concentrate on those new fangled wind mills on the tops of the moors being vertical. Quite ironic that Ossy has this technology for producing 'electrickery' when they are still on gas lamps! Mind you, I did hear on the grape vine, these wind mills are for producing corn.

Theres nowt wrong with 'Bob' my little SMART car. Stop picking on him bullies. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...=BobinHelm.jpg

Kens had his new Citroen recalled after less a week for 'brake pipe' problems. (It didn't have any! )
Mr Wilsons 'de Range d Rover' or Chelsea Tractor has a suspension pump fail (and dirty number plates).
Now Bobs 'Juke' is playing up.

I did here that the Nissan Pajero was Spanish for someone who, how can I put this politely, plays with ones self. Perhaps more Rivi members should buy them!

Lets face it - if its got tits or tyres it will give you grief. I'll stick to airguns.
