    HW35 .177 value please??

    Hi all,

Please read as .22 not .177

I was given this and it was in quite a shabby state. I have cleaned it up best possible before going to steel wool and reblueing kit. The internals are in brilliant condition. The spring looked brand new when I opened it up!! It is the old style piston with a leather washer all of which is intact.

Have lubed and cleaned it and it shoots at a constant 11.4ft/lb with RWS pellets 14.5g; have popped a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster 3-9x50 IR AO scope on it and it is nice and accurate

No open sights though. The barrel is not rusty inside and the parts of the action that were hidden by the stock are not rusty.

    Heres some pics.

Rough value please. If too low will happily keep for a nice first time project of doing up.

    Cheers all.

    Rich

The rifle onits own in current condition about £90, it is after all an HW and as you say even after all that abuse it still performs.
