Range Day, Highlands, Sunday 11th March

    Hi Guys,

Just a heads up for those lucky people who live within Highlands travelling area.
Strathpeffer Rifle club are having a Practice day at Cawdor Range on Sunday 11th March. We'll be starting at the 100/200 yards point and working back to 600 yards throughout the day.
    Anything except HME.
Cost should be around £5 if enough people turn up.
You will be expected to assist with Butts duty.
Range safety brief at 09:30 with first shot down-range at 10:00.
    Bring your own food/snacks.
    Some ammo available on the day; .223 (55gn), 5.56 (62gn), .303 (174gn) & 7.62 nato.
Come along or email Strathrpc at yahoo.com for info.

36 views so far, it would be nice to get at least 36 people to turn up on the day.

Oh well it was a good day, blessed with good weather, about 28 guys & gals turned up and shot everything from .22's to 7.62x54 Mosins.
I managed to live up to my dedidick name by again shooting out the target spotting disc, so managed to keep plenty shots around the 0.5moa mark at 200 & 300 yards; not bad for a 'service' type rifle and a very cheapo NCStar scope.
Next rifle shoot is our Service Rifle shoot in April; details available on our website, should anybody be interested in joining in.
