    Rapid stock extension

I'm finding my MFR CS800 a little short in the stock. Anyone know whether there are any stock extenders available and can recommend someone to fit one, preferably in the southeast? I know from painful experience that if I attempt a DIY, I'll have a disaster.

lionel, suggest you contact BuddyBoy-assuming he doesn't pick this string up first. I know he shortens his stocks so is up to explaining the gentle art of stock CUTTING!! I'll mention it to him at the club today.

    Hi,

I'll make you one, for free!!

Send me the butt pad, and spacer if any, and the width that you'd like the extension to be, and I'll make one up for you, and finish it with Danish oil. I'll even include a lightwood butt spacer!!

Alternatively, you could draw around the butt end of the butt pad, and include EXACT positioning of the screw holes, and I'll use that as a guide. The butt pad would be best though, as I'll be able to get an exact fit. A pic of the gun would be helpful, as a guide to colour.

    Regards,

    Doug.

What an unbelievably fantastic offer! - thanks very much. I'll unscrew the buttpad and work out how much longer I need and get it off to you next week.
