    .308 N140 recommendations required

    Im currently waiting for the arrival of my new .308 Remington 700 police and was woundering what loads people use. I stated N140 as its the same powder as what i load my .223.

    Any recommendations on bullet selection and powder weight would be helpful.

    Well for target shooting I use:

    168 grn Sierra Matchkings, 42.6 grn N140, Federal Gold Cup Primers, 2.215 COL (ogive reading). Average velocity 2626 f/sec

    from my Rem 700 .308

    155gn A-Max 43.5 gns N140 after that it's fine tuning

    In my Accuracy Intl I use 155grn SMK Palma, CCI Br primers and 46.0 grns N140.
