Laser cutting ?

Hi all

I am selling quite a quite rare rifle that has a lasered metal inlay under the stock and wondered if anyone can laser cut me a new replacement , its not an intricate design and I will give it a go with hand tools but does anyone know how much it would cost to cut a 4mm thick 'fig of 8 ' shape roughly 3x2 inches in size ? I can obviously provide the present one as a template too .

Is the actual metal laser engraved or laser cut? If it is only cut a water jet cut out may work out cheaper.

Its just the shape I need , the engraved one is the one I would like to keep .
