    A Millita Pistol

Yes, a pistol and not rifle or airgun. These are far rarer than the Langenham made long guns and date from the 1920/30s. This one is in original condition with cosmetic wear and an even patina, which gives it a nice aged look. Sights are complete and the pistol is in working order. Very low powered, which suggests the original mainspring remains fitted. Barrel is .177 rifled. There are a couple of minor splits to the stock but the low power of the spring does not place any wear on them or the pistol altogether. A nice looking genuine Langenhan Millita that has the outward appearance of a duelling pistol when you look at it in profile. £140 posted or £130 collected from the vintage shoot at Bisley on Easter Sunday. Pistol now SOLD

    Kind regards,
    John

BTW, you can successfully muzzle load with Gamo ball as long as the pistol is kept level.

Or am I just in a world of my own?
