    Crosman 13xx & 22xx trigger

Since I first stripped one I've thought that the trigger in the Crosman 13xx & 22xx etc. was at best a kludge and that something far better could fit in the same space.Llast month I had an inspirational moment when I looked at a trigger system from an old bolt action .22 rimfire that's been kicking around in the bottom of a drawer and have been ruminating on this ever since.

My "Bank Holiday" has been spent prototyping and I now have a design which will give adjustable sear engagement and 2nd stage weight, I will add the first stage but haven't yet as I'd like to make that weight and travel adjustable.

The kit will require a little simple file work to fit and will give the Crosman the target grade trigger it's always deserved, and the safety will be retained but the bar will be rotated 180 and act on the new components

Not yet as I've only just finished prototyping and now need to decide on final production materials and then cost the production process.
As far as I can tell it's nothing like any of the other aftermarket trigger bits for these, the kit will have a new trigger and all linkages, about 7 components in all and will use the original trigger pivot point and pin, I have to say I'm a bit chuffed, my 2250 trigger is now as good, or better than my HW80

This sounds interesting. I'd like to know more when you've got an idea on costs etc.
