I use AA Fields in my 410K, they're about 15.9 grains (Heavy-ish and better for PCPs)
They have one of the best BC of any pellet according to chairgun.
They are highly regarded on here....which is the chief reason I use them.
They are accurate enough to consistantly hit a 20 mm zone at 55 yards bench rested.....and there's better shots than me on here.
cheers for reply i was unsure if a light .22 pellet might give more stopping power and abit more distance i dont really shoot over 30-35 yrds tops but thought a light pellet might give me another 15-20 yrds of save killing range ?
a lighter .22 pellet will not give more stopping power at distance where as the heavy one will retain more downrange energy thus transfering more stopping power.
Example
AA Field 5.5 16 grain
30 yards 82% energy retention.
Where as the lighter Crossman premeir 14.3 grain retains only 70% energy @ 30 yards.
The lighter the pellet the less energy retention.
RWS Hobby 11.9 grain only retains 57% energy at 30 yards.
Hope that helps
cheers i sort of understand
