How much do the knowledgeable members of collectors corner ...

... think I should have to pay for a Webley pre-war straight-grip Mk.I .177 pistol in good to very good condition, please? Many thanks in anticipation of your considered and calculated thoughts . Atb: G.

As long as its not one of the rare early types I would say £130 tops.

i would think the only reason to pay any more than that is if there was a box involved,

Just to worry you about rising prices.
Yesterday I sold a mint Birmingham 4 Senior in .177 with a spare .22 barrel and a tatty box for £200.
In £50 notes I might add.
It was a lovely one but chap didnt even haggle.
Maybe I should have kept it!

Ah, this thread is a sad example of the biogtry and bias that is shown against 'real' air pistols, that is pistols which look like a series of small guage water pipes screwed together with utterly un-ergonomic grips. What people see in these ultra realistic, assualt pistol clones is beyond me. Blowback action my a**e, give me a lump of solid steel anyday. Long live 'real' airpistols

    .
Thanks to BBS member Mr. Gen, I am soon to be sorted with an example of the above, and at a price not a million miles away from the main figure as proffered above, ergo my 50th Birthday present to myself is currently on its way. Happy days.
