    ...buying a barrel from a gun shop,VCR act question.

    ...ive been told they cant be purchased and sent out by post to joe public, they have to go to a RFD...anyone?...thank you

    You can buy direct from a private sale, but from a shop, it has to be part of a repair or sent to a RFD, if your not buying face to face.

    ..sending another as a ''repair'' or ''exchange'' was mentioned...sounds like a bit of a loop hole there.lol...RFD it is then,corse hes gona charge me £25 ..anyway thanks guys.

    You can buy from Europe, nothing in vcr to prevent that, it only hammers uk shops -

    If you have an old unwanted/damaged barrel, or part thereof, the trade supplier can accept that as an exchange, and, after payment, send you the barrel direct.
    You need to check with the prospective supplier to confirm this.
