HW100 .177 - Prefered Ammo Choice - Hunting and Range

    Hi Guys
Just trying to get some general feed back and views on what people are getting best results from with this rifle.

    Hi
I have tried JSB exact in a 4.52 head size, . Very good

Also tried RWS superfields same head size, useless, but apparently it might be a bad batch !!!

I will be trying some Bisley magnums next, but if the JSBs continue like they are then i probably won't try another pellet. Just need a backup pellet in case i can't get the JSBs.

AA fields 4.52 here, mine didnt like RWS Hollowpoint one bit.

Edit - Settled on JSB Exact Express - was concerned about the light weight being making these unsuitable for hunting but they have been fine and allow superb groupings and very little shot adjustment out to 40 yards.

    Here too.

Same for live quarry as for the range, because given adequate power the main thing is accuracy.

air arms fields, jsb blue and reds, falcons, accupells, powapells, ftt's, mozzies, lazadomes. these all shoot well out of my hw100.

i mainly use jsb reds as i get them for a good price and its very rare i get any deformed pellets, if any at all. great quality pellet.

Bisley magnums in. 177 seem to hit harder. No deformed pellets. And not as loopy as you would think
