    Manton DB Percusion Shotgun value please

    Hi could someone give me a valuation of a Manton DB Percusion Shotgun, complete with original case, powder flask and cleaning rods. thanks

    Is it the original case?
    As the barrels are much shorter than their compartment.
    No oil bottle compartment.
    Shot flask has not got it's own location.
    These are details that Manton wouldn't have overlooked.

    I would also get close up pictures of the locks and proof marks. There were many guns made by Birmingham gunsmiths (some good, some bad) which were signed 'Manton' so that they could capitalize on his name and charge more for their guns.
    (In fact, 8 out of 10 guns I've seen signed Manton had nothing to do with Manton. Doesn't mean it's not a nice piece of kit, just not necessarily a Manton.)
