Well, what can I say,a cracking course Derek and the guys set for us today ,shame the wind and rain spoiled it , a little bit anyway....Thanks to Nigel for the company,my score could have been better but I hear a lot of the 'Top' shooters got similar so maybe I should not beat myself up over it.... Looking forward to Rd 4 already......

mmmmm that was wet, windy and horrible, shot like a twat "again"
Thanks to Kim for his company and listening to my missed shot, kicking gun bag, swearing, cursing god, retort.
Nice burger van by the way, hot, good food, quick service and good value, can they do all the venues.
Richard,I shall have my butler pick up the jacket when we next meet. (unless you are still in that field)
Thank you, Horshamites. What a fun morning. I am certain that the Swallows FTC Monsoon Shoot was significantly wetter ... but you surely outdelivered us in the mud stakes.
My best shots were certainly the free stander and the finger at peg 30. For the latter I had virtually no sight of either the target nor my crosshairs - all down to some serious fog on both scope eyepiece and specs.
My worst shots were OK, just a shame there were far too many of them
I'll get round to sorting out the results a.s.a.p, which will be posted on their own thread.
In the meantime if Derek / Steve / any other Hawkeye is able to check in the dim interior of your club house I am very sure you'll spot my precious shooting glove. It's a medium size black and white Gehman (sic). No doubt it will still be soggy, but be ever so grateful if you would let me know you've found it and able to bring down to Swallows for Round 4.
