    12-14 ftlbs hw45.

I got some new walnut grips for my new hw45 so shared the pics on a few of the forums I'm on. One of which there's a "gunsmith" that has been coming up with some wild power figures on guns he has tuned ie 145 ftlbs out of a rapid 7. I posted the pics today and took the piss out of him when he replied the following then ensued.

Oh btw the magicians method involved a custom piston seal, a double spring, polished internals and a slightly longer barrel.

That would be the same person who was banned from BSAOG, he claimed to be a doctor when he was on there. Is he a man of many tallents or just full of shit?

I think he could possibly do it, by replacing all of the parts of a HW45 with all of the parts from a FAC HW80.

Wait a minute, that would just be a HW80!

I've seen those grips somewhere before ... they look nice. Personally I'd like them better without the fingertip grooves. But nice all the same

There is a way to do it, and more, using a device that used to be available to out continental cousins, the fact that he makes no mention of anything like it makes me think he's a Walt of the first water

Flemish? I thought he was Belgian not Dutch! Is it who I think it is, a user who names a certain type of motorcycle in/as his username?

    Yep, SJ is back again...

Ah, you must mean the continental "compression chamber expanding mega-spring and pint of oil" device. Must get onto chambers to see if they have any......

He's a walt, it's physically impossible, or if he had done it the resulting airgun would be so far removed from the HW45 he started out with that it couldn't be called an HW45 any more, it certainly wouldn't look like one!

If it was anything Barrakuda style you would want to stand well back from it I reckon

Well there goes my geography, I thought Flemish referred to the Dutch, not to this wally! (note I did not refer to him as a walloon...)
