    Fixed Mag Scope

Can anyone recommend a fixed mag (10x?) scope with parallax adjustment for about £300? To be used for general plinking, informal target work and occasional HFT.

    Thanks.

Gazo had an EB Sniper 10x42 for sale, just about the best if you want 10x & PA adjustable.

I think Gazo was selling a mint condition EB 'Sniper' for around your budget.

    Thanks chaps, as always.

Scope isn't for me - was enquiring for a friend. Didn't realise that the EB had pa.

Anyways I have passed the info on.

    Thanks again

    Oyz tik oi am!

Oi moight be a bit tik here, but does a PA have much point on a fixed 10 mag. As fur ez oi ken see, it woodn't be doing a lot, and serpently wouldn't rangefind.

PA has a lot of point at 10 mag. Parallax a scope at 25 yards and you just about get 12 to 50 in clear focus. Take it hunting and you lose any ability to use it for spotting. Similarly if you want close range ratting its a constant change.

Duh! I said I'm thick didn't I? I'm just that used to using big mags with PA for ranging tin chickens with. I suppose an adjustable one is easier than peeing about winding the objective lens in and out, risking scratching the lens.
