Summer Sizzler number 1 (Tawd Vale)

    Hello all,

A quick heads up for this month's HFT shoot at Tawd Vale, West Lancashire. This Sunday will be the 1st competition of our clubs HFT league, members and non members are all welcome to join in then fun. We will be having the safety brief at 10:30am, the only thing I can add to this is that once the brief has started, the entry book is closed. You must all ensure you have signed in by this time. Full UKAHFT rules and course are being used, and as this is the start of the league, the rules will be enforced. During the brief, we will cover the rules for you and try and answer as many of the questions you fire at us. Some of you may have FT rigs or setups that you are unsure of the legality within HFT, if you speak to us before the brief we can offer guidance.

Butties and prizes are available as usual. We can't guarantee the weather but we can guarantee you'll have a bit of fun.

Hope to see you all there.

One thing of interest, I believe that Tawd Vale has a rule about no dogs on site, I have never seen any dogs down there, but their you go anyway.

Ahherm, Ill be giving the old Ripper an outing this Sunday, so count me in old chap.

I'll bring the Bacon as usual.

We'll be having a whip round for Roys Parachute Jump - the person who sponsors him the most gets to push him out - so bring all yer spare cash lads.

Good luck with this shoot. A few more R.R. members hope to attend one of these events later in the year.

    Cheers Ian.

For info : I have PM'd you a list of dates that these shoots fall on. They dont clash with anything else I know of.

Tell your lads they would be welcome anytime.

cheers eth, we'll be there from 8am, so if you want to give a hand you are more than welcome.

Im hoping davestate brings his range finder along so we can keep the targets within the 45yd max. This 'checking' task will go to a non shooter, btw.

    Thanks.
