yes mate,a single shot.It did have quite a large ejection port so the empties could be caught easily!
In saying yes to this air rifle you are confirming that you are not a messer and are allowed to go out in public without your carer

I am really smitten with this rifle. The barrel is very accurate. I have just been out practicing shooting off the wing mirror of my truck at longer ranges (250 yards+) with it ready for foxing time after the harvest. I rolled into a grass field and spotted some pigeon at 323 yards, dialled and sent the shot hitting the pigeon centre mass (bust pillow time) and then 10 seconds later a carrion crow landed to feed on the pigeon - he too exploded via 25g Vmax. All adds to my vermin count with this barrel.

I've not used my 700 17 REM LVSF this year yet - I could pop over for a play if you like Mike. It's currently got a Burris Laserscope on it but the ballistic ret might be a bit thick for your younger eyes

It could do with an evening out in some fairly sheltered place for a zero check at least. Then targets or corvids are fine for me if your bunnies are still hidden.

I met up with zx10mike last night for a zero session with my 17 REM LVSF. Mike has incredibly good eyesight and a very steady shot from the bonnet of his Landy. The best distance we could get with a decent backstop on the place we went was 178 yards, measured with his rangefinder and the Burris LaserScope on my rifle.

It is the first time the 17 has been out this year - and I had given it a very good clean. Three fouling shots are usually needed from a cleaned barrel. Given his eyes are better than mine - and the object of the meet up was for him to have a go with it I let him do the honours. His first three shots were a 28mm group.

He feels he could do better with a prone bipod shot. We'll make no mention of my shots as I'd never bonnet shot before and didn't find it as good as shooting from my 4wd door mirror. By then it was getting dark and a lamping session was on the cards but that's a different story. I dare say Mike will post up about that because he has a wicked sense of humour and there are tales to be told.

yep ken got stuck in barbies car,he he my pal reckons he did well tho keeping it on its wheels.the 17 rem was awesome.through daves happy shopper skope i could just make out the field and knew there was a target in there some were.the three shots i first took i was amazed.bieng spoilt by high mag scopes i struggeled and off the bonet was not the best but all the fields are to high at the moment for a bi pod.rested with more mag that rifle would be bullet on bullet.i had fun but as it was a school night wimped out at 1.30 ish.and to be honest was glad as dave kept touching me and asking me if i liked puppies.he allways stood behind me when i was shooting whilst playing with his belly button.it made me feel vunerable but apart from that i had a great night.

I have a sako 75 rebarrelled to .17 rem by dasherman. He did a great job . It is 22.5 inch barrel and with 24.1 grains of varget does 3980 fps. it groups like the ones you put up earlier, eg very well.

    595

This week Steve K will be receiving a Tikka 595 that he is going to rebarrel for me.It's currently a .222 so I had it sent directly to him.
I have sold the HMR to fund this as I think it would be redundant once this one is up and running.

I will be PM'ing you 17Rem lads for some info once I get it here, sadly funding for the barrel will hold things up for a while.

I quite fancy one of the GRS stocks but this will probably be a next year project.

    Nice looking rifle there.
I had this one in .17 rem which had a Walther barrel blank,RPA action and Macmillan stock.I wish I had kept it as it was super accurate.I sold it and bought a Sako 75 in same cal and have been shooting it for about 8 years without too many problems, only had two pierced primers.
It's still super accurate but is a 17 fireball now.
