    300 Bar recharging

Apparently the dive shop on the A1 at the Black Cat Roundabout (between Bedford & St Neots) has closed?

Anyone know where I can get a 7L 300bar bottle recharged somewhere Bedford / Northampton / St Neots please?

    Thanks.

Charge to 300 bar whilt you wait.

Click on the Gildenburgh or Gildy one. Wisbech side of Peterborough by about 5 miles.

    Hope that helps!

    Many thanks.

There is also Parwin Scuba at Glatton (south of Peterborough, near Connington) but I'm trying to find somewhere a bit closer.

I'm interested in this thread too; I need to charge a 3ltr 300bar bottle. I'll be in Huntingdon next week, and I'm often around Fowlmere/Duxford areas??

    Just been on google earth.
Planet Blue in Brace street, there is a phone number on shop front of 01234 272333, but have never been able to get this working, had a 'works' bottle filled there last year, had to go there on the off chance.

If the Barn Shop is not convenient ... you can go to The Country Store in Pampisford, near Sawston. Generally 'while you wait' service.
To find them: M11 Duxford exit. If coming south, exit left to Cambridge / Newmarket A505. Continue across a small roundabout and turn left at the large roundabout (BP garage on your right). Then immediately bear right. Follow about 400 yards and turn left into the industrial estate .. you can see the Country Store from the road ... it is immediately in front of you as you enter off the road. In the Store, right door into the 'Gun Room'.
    Cheers, Phil
