    Weihrauch hw80 Piston Sleeve PTFE

    How do i put this in the piston without it sliding too and thro, do i put a lip on it or something, if so whats the best way to do this

    cut little triangular notches along the front edge, fold over the spikes left so that the end of the spring or top hat if youve done that bears on them and traps the sleeve.

    Yep,
    Jim Tyler wrote an article on that very subject maybe 1 1/2 - 2 years ago in AGW.
    If you've not got the PTFE yet, try direct plastics online.
    A steel sleeve would no doubt be harder wearing and many have succeeded using beer/soft drink cans.

    I also put in a steel washer to cover the tabs of the piston sleeve then a delrin slip washer.
    That makes sure the slip washer is baring down on something flat & smooth & then so is the tophat as it bares on the slip washer.
