great shoot today got my personal best but lost wallet after not so good roll on buxted

Well done Swallows, a great day. I came home and crashed out on the sofa for an hour, so I reckon Biggs must deserve 24hrs kip!

Superb shooting John and Steve, there were some great scores - young Rudy's 53 for example - fantastic! And well done Beth on her 55 too.

Just like to add my thanks to the Swallows team who layed on todays shoot and of course to Steve & John on top shooting.

I dont think it was beginners luck with Rudy, we will be seeing more of him in the near future........ another valuable addition to the Oakie crew!

Shall we do it all again in three weeks??

Couldn't make today as and to man the BBQ at our street party. What was the result?

Good shoot today, not as easy as it first looked, really
enjoyed it. Learnt a couple of lessons today, it's a good
day when you learn something new.

Many thanks everyone for welcoming myself and my son (Adrian - 11 years old). First time either of us has shot HFT or any sort of air rifle competion for that matter.

Most enjoyable with at least two lessons learned:-

1) Don't pull the trigger without the breach closed...I now know what the ManU players feel like when Sir Alex has given them the hair dryer treatment
2) Read the rules first! Scope stuck on *26 mag as I didn't know you couldn't move it until just after my first shot. Thus the close in targets were a wee bit tricky! Luckily, by chance, it wasn't focused for 50yds, only 32yrds.

Personally, the two c*ck-ups above have ensured I look forward to the next shoot to see what that 53 score could really have been.

...and finally, many thanks to Sam from the Buxted team in showing me round.

Oi you. Sticky fingers OFF. Not often that Swallows FTC has the good fortune of engaging a new member with this level of skill and I'm not letting Rob (and his son) go ANYWHERE

I put it down to a mix of beginners luck & accident prone . Now looking for a fixed mag scope and a couple of other bits.
