    Went out tonight

    Oryt guys
Went out tonight, just before it started to get dark for a bit of a plink around some permission.Bagged 5 pigeons out of a couple of trees thanks to the help of a pal who added 2 to the bag . Having the lamps in the jeep we decided to pop onto some more permission and bagged another 2 rabbits
Not a bad night on the whole
    Anyone else been out?

    1. You might want to read the sticky about dead stuff
    2. You might want to read the small matter about the law regarding lamping and birds cos they are not Ferals.
    3. You might like to delete this thread.

    He did say 'before' dark.

    Then lamped bunnies afterwards.

so to hijack the thread and open a big can of worms.....

    you can't lamp birds.......

can you shoot them with NV???

(not saying the OP was lamping birds, i interpretted it as shooting them as it was dropping dark)

went out last night myself, very hard going - full moon and clear skies, no breeze, frozen underfoot so very noisy to move around... bagged one and should have taken another but i reall ywasn't expecting an 8 yard bunny to STILL be sitting there after i had sorted the one i shot!!! i would put last night down as one of the most difficult nights shooting i have done for a long time.
