This is a new one from Emley Moor FTC

The establishment ie Trev Ryan and the gang have given the go ahead for the HFT shooters to organise an Open series at the club.

Chris Cundey, Mark Crossland, Duane (and family) and myself will be organising a 6 shoot series with trophies for the overall winners. We will also have help from all HFT shooters at the club plus valuable input from a former UKAHFT champ and a former world champ.

This is a great opportunity for HFT shooters near and far to get some great shooting to UKAHFT rules.

FT shooters are also welcome to join us for some fun.

If we get good support we will hold a winter series too.

There will be trophies for Juniors, open and Springers.

The best of four scores out of six rounds will count towards the overall total.

6 rounds in total to be held on the first Saturday of every month .

£4 entry with £1 to go into the bonus draw.

The shoot will be held to ukahft format and rules.

Edit...We are planning to have a 31st shot called the Money Moose that will be set out at random ranges of between 50 and 75 yards. £1 of the entry fee goes into the pot and the ones that knock it over will have their score cards put into the hat and drawn out at the end. You don't have to be there to win the money so those wanting to shoot and leave can do so and still have a chance of winning a few quid. £10 will go to help for heroes with the remainder of the pot going to the winner. If we have enough FT lads shooting kneeling and standing then we'll also put on a trophy for that but those shooters won't be able to range find the money moose.

The Money Moose will be put out on the morning of the shoot by a single Emley member who then can shoot the target but won't have their score card put into the hat for the cash. That way no-one on the day will know the range so it's all fair.

No plans for a burger van but if numbers are good we'll see later on.

Booking in starts around 9 and please come along if you've never shot HFT before. A friendly club and a friendly shoot. If you don't know the score then drop me a PM and i'll organise it so that you can shoot round with an experienced hand.
