    Witness...how many?

    How many types or makers of this pistol are there? seen a new one in a shop which seemed cheap at 60.00 pound dont no nothing about these but dont want to buy the wrong one.

    Cybergun make 2 Witnesses, one is a classic 1911A1 shape and is metal and has blowblack. The other they make is a pretty naff plastic thing.

    I don't know of any others, however the blowback one is based on an airsoft gun.

    the metal version is supposed to retail at £58 but I've seen it go for £140. That's for the blowback model.

    Never seen the blowback one at £58 Where from? Going rate is generally round the £90 or so mark.

    RRP was initially £71, it then went up to £79 IIRC.

    Most places sell for over £100.

    hi there are actually 4 versions soon another two launched for sale one is currently available at Solware its on there Facebook page. Tanfoglio Limited in 6mm and 177 metal bb only airsoft available .177 coming within next few weeks.These are better than the other ones!!!!!!! By far the best of all the Tanfoglio's.

    Weighs over 4lb's! Blimey. Is that usual for handguns? My TFW is heavy enough for me at half that..

    And apparently, if I don't get one there's something wrong with me.

    They retail at around $65 in the US which is about £50 lol. Seen some shops here sell them for £145 and the plastic version for £70.

    But there's 2 versions. The old plastic one is no good. The metal one is much better.

    Cheap Tanfoglio Witness £50 made from plastic non blowback
    Full metal body with blowback Tanfoglio retails around £120
    Tanfoglio Limited 1911 Full Metal blowback 6mm retails around £130 (solware)
    Tanfoglio limited 1911 Full Metal blowback metal 177 bb retails around £130 (coming in next few weeks)

    that's most likely a typo- even the real colt 1911 only weighs 2.5 lbs.
