Sorry, I own an HW45 and like the way it shoots, and admire the build quality, but they'll all always be ugly pistols as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed, shoots a treat but its no looker.
In fact I put a paper bag on mine when I shoot it.

LOL, why do you think 'beautiful' was in inverted commas?
I think the large grips on the 'star' versions really balance them out. The original has the look of a handle on a breeze-block.

The Black Star is probably the least aesthetically offensive IMHO. I love my 45 but it is not by any stretch beautiful. But then I don't think the 1911A1 on which it is (sort of) modelled is beautiful, or in fact almost any automatic pistol, especially any modern one.

Since the Poll's about looks, I voted for the Silver Star. Though I tend to shoot pistols better that have combat rather than target style grips.
